3-D DESIGN

It’s the 21st century. You deserve design that reflects that. Literally.

One of the great mysteries of interior design has always been “what will my space look like when it’s all done?”. This uncertainty is often the reason people are hesitant to hire a designer. Fortunately, the superpowers of the computer have been applied to the previously vague world of interior design. At Interior Harmony, we utilize these programs to their fullest capacity to offer you the most clarity possible on what your finished project can look like.

Using programs such as Sketchup (for conceptual design, floorplans and layout) and Revit (for construction documents), you will have the opportunity to see what your remodeled or redecorated space will look like before making a single change to your space and long before any furniture is ordered. We combine all of this computer modeling with real-life samples of the materials and finishes in our models so you can actually touch and feel them. Between the computer modeling and the in-hand material samples, you’ll feel confident about pressing the “GO” button on your remodeling project.

Here’s what the process looks like

STEP 1

We start with your existing space. Here is a guest bedroom that the homeowners wanted to makeover. They wanted it to be a beautiful and calming space that reflected the beauty of the Pacific Northwest for their frequent out of town guests.

STEP 2

After listening carefully to their design goals, we thoughtfully selected colors, furniture, accessories and bedding that we felt best achieved those goals. We presented the client with a floor plan and mood board. Once those were approved, we then built the room in our software. This is what it looks like in the computer model. Note – we are even able to include images of the actual art you wish to incorporate.

STEP 3

We then took the computer model and rendered the image to be photorealistic, which gives the client a very clear idea of what it will look like in real life once the project is completed. It’s worth noting that many clients feel comfortable basing their design plans using the level of computer modeling as shown in STEP 2 and don’t always find photo realistic renderings as essential.

STEP 4

Voila – an actual photo of the finished room! The clients were thrilled with the outcome. Can you believe how much the render in STEP 3 looks like the photo of the actual room?
